Ok so it's no big shock to anyone that I'm enamored by all things Vampire related....I have been since I was a little girl. I've donned fangs for years...Three years ago I was introduced to a little phenom that turned my world upside down. Twilight.
Twilight has been such an amazing thing for me. I received the set of books one day from a friend. My oldest niece loved and is obsessed with the movie and told me I would love them but I would be better off reading the books first.
The first time I saw the movie I was ok with the movie. But after receiving the books, I read the first book. Then ran out to buy the movie. It was so much better having read the books. Then of course I had to see what happens next, so I grabbed the new moon book. I continued to devore each book in just a matter of days I was finished and I knew Twilight was one of the best book series out there.
You can identify a part of yourself with every character! I see myself in Bella, Alice, and Rosalie the most. I'm clumsy like Bella, bitchy like Rosalie and have the hair and heart of Alice! Talk about a great combination *hehe*
Whenever I am having a bad day. The Cullen's seem to brighten my day :)
Also through Twilight I have managed to meet some amazing people! These people live sleep and breathe Twilight just as I do and it's great to have such an amazing extended family! Dette, Jasmin, Candace, Kim, Natalie, Jessica, Chauntelle, Karen, Anna, Dale, Elzabeth, Christina, Jen you are all amazing and I am thankful that "Twilight" has brought us all together!
So....Thursday night.....at midnight, there's absolutely no question as to where I'll be....I'll be amongst thousands of "Twi-friends" watching an amazing movie called Breaking Dawn!

Such a Slacker......
I have piles upon piles of books....and have several dozen books on my Nook, that I have yet to read....I have seriously slacked off on reading lately and I need to get back on reading! Reading is something I enjoy immensely and such an escape. So I vow to finally get back to reading!
This week I was going to re-read Breaking Dawn for the one millionth time before the movies release...But sadly I'm too chicken! The hardback version I have I had autographed by several of the actors whilst I was in Nashville.....So I don't want to mess it up...Then I have the Limited Edition White Cover/Red edged books....and I don't want to mess those up either.....whats a girl to do! Guess the next time I'm at the store I shall by a set of the books just for reading ;) OH or maybe put them on my Christmas/Birthday list.....

Hey YOU!
As I was eating lunch today and trolling facebook, I came across a post a friend had shared. My friend had shared a graphic from a site that had the most amazing message. A message that really hit home. A message that I swear if I didn't know better, I'd think it was written about me!
Every single line, every single word rings true. It's so dead on! I've for many many years have admitted that I am my own worst enemy. I knit pick, over analyze, and criticize myself entirely too much...and I know this! But I never stop myself from doing these things. I always say "I wish this was different", "If I were this size I'd be happier" , "I wish I were more like her".....But what if those things were true...Would I really be happy then? So many times I have held myself back from things because I didn't think I was good enough. That stops here and now.....I know I am good enough! It's time I tell that b!tch I see in the mirror off! Let her know that I am worth it! I can do anything! And I am beautiful despite my imperfections....they are what makes me truly amazing!

Discouraged
Discouraged- : to deprive of courage or confidence
Sadly I had big plans for July and thus far they are just that plans...I haven't followed through and at most I'm getting discouraged all together on operation weight loss. I think I need to access and evaluate everything in my life to see just what it is that is not allowing me to "change". Am I comfortable enough in the current situation to not what to work at getting what I want...And better yet what is it that I really want? I know, what a crazy question What is it that I want? But seriously we all have dreams and aspirations but how many of us really have a clear and consise idea of what we want in life?! And better yet how do we go about achieving what we want?
I know I'm a lost soul in the world just waiting and hoping to one day find myself! But isn't that what life is about....the journey?

Nash-Con Part Two
Day One of NashCon started out pretty early for us sleep deprived girls...We were up, dressed and out to check out the convention set up by 10...After we found the initial area and spotted the merchandise area...We decided to look around the hotel a bit before claiming our spots for early registration....By 11:15 we finally committed to our spots in line, I think we were like 7th or 8th in line. I like sitting in lines, basically I just like people watching. Plus interacting with fellow Twi-fans isn't so bad either. 
Finally it's time! We are herded in small groups to where the "magic happens" aka where are given our seat assignment badges and nifty wristbands. We also had to deal with taking care of our Photo Ops that needed switched...We had I think 4 or 5 Photo Ops that needed trading in, and the chick handling the info at the first check in was a total "itch" and not very informative or helpful at all. Thankfully we were able to get more info at the "Autograph/Photo Op" window and the gentleman there was more than helpful and even went to the "Itch" and set her straight! Thanks dude!!! After we get everything straightened out we head over to the Merchandise area to check out everything we must have! I have to say I did rather well at not going overboard buying stuff. I made sure I didn't take a lot of extra money with me to help avoid going overboard! I was sad to see only 3 booths set up...1 with A lot of different Merchandise. Another with 8 x 10 photos and finally the Hillywood girls had a booth as well. I guess all the other vendors couldn't make the trip. We decide we have enough time left to take our "valuables" back to our room, and grab some lunch before the festivities begin.
We go back to the Ballroom by 3 to find our seats and get situated before the first Q & A with the lovely Leah Gibson! Around 3:30 we get the Official Start of the Convention kicked off by Hilli and Hannah of the Hillywood's. We are showed their parody of Eclipse before Leah takes to the stage. I must admit, once Leah was announced as a guest I was puzzled. I had to research "Nettie", then once I saw her picture it hit me that she was one of the girls with Maria when Jasper showed up. The one thing I absolutely LOVED about the lineup for this convention was that besides it being my first Twilight Convention...it was also the first convention for three of the guests! yay for newbies!!!
Leah was absolutely in such awe of the experience and I LOVED that it came across in her Q & A. You could honestly tell she was happy to be there and she has such a cute bubbly personalty! She definitely won me over and I will most definitely keep an eye on her and her work from now on!
Up next they show clips from the Convention in LA....and Yes/No question contest...Then the ladies from Twilight Lexicon take the stage. Up next NIKKI FREAKING REED! *fangirl squeal* Ok allow me to pause for a bit of back story here...In my mind there has always been two people in my dream convention lineup apart from the obvious ROB! Kellan and Nikki have always been my dream....And once I found out Nikki was coming I was like a kid on Christmas morning! I was beyond excited! Not to mention that Rosalie is my favorite character period! I've followed Nikki's work for sometime. She's such a talented person! I must say that when they announced Nikki's name for her to take the stage I had stars in my eyes! Her whole Q & A was so great and I am still in fangirl mode up till the Photo Op...Which was Amazing, I look so funny in the picture but I love it because you can truly see how freaking excited I was to meet her!
After the Nikki Photo Op we made it back down to the ballroom to get ready for Autographs. I had my Eclipse book signed by both Leah & Nikki and I got two photo's of Nikki signed...one for me and one for my niece. It was there that we got fussed at by an evil little man with a big head, whom for the remainder of the weekend avoided us like the plague! All we did was take a picture of the ladies signing our books... But we still snuck in pictures of Leah signing our books so :P You big Meany! Leah was super nice We thanked her for coming and she Thanked us for having her there and for being great fans, and then she called me pumpkin! lol Never have I been called Pumpkin before so I thought it was really funny. We go back to our seats and wait for the Private Q & A with Nikki to start.
Nikki came back on stage for her Q & A and it was awesome...She made it like we were all just a bunch of friends catching up. She let a Breaking Dawn sneak peek scene slip, and after realizing she wasn't supposed to say anything she hid her head and laughed it off. Someone had asked her about the song "Hands" that she supposedly co-wrote with Robert Pattinson for Rob's sister Lizzy. Nikki explains that she was hurt a bit by how it's portrayed that she was co-writer on the song. She wrote the entire song herself, but it just goes to show you how things in the media gets blown out of proportion. And she hopes someone there was recording it...She glanced over at me points to me and said "She is! Perfect" *dies* I just got called out by Nikki! *fangirl squeal* Then sadly it was time for Nikki to leave us...I can't speak for anybody besides myself but Day 1 was absolutely Fangtastic! We decided to pass on the Karaoke and try to get some rest before Day 2......

Nash-Con Part 1
The EPIC event of the Twilight Convention Nashville...has now been dubbed Nash-Con by myself and plenty of other fans.
ROAD TRIP! My bestie Sam and I decided late last summer to make the trip to Nashville! The first Twilight Convention for both of us and our first "Real" Road trip...Normally I wouldn't be all that excited about being in a car for 8 hours but honestly the time seemed to pass so quickly and we had such fun....Random stops for shopping, Cracker Barrel, and not to mention our driving through first rain, then snow, then sleet, then snow, then back to rain! CRAZYNESS!
Being my first Twilight Convention I was beyond excited....I was totally, STOKED for the event! A little disappointed at first because the entire lineup was all wolves. Now being a BIG Vamp fan like myself, you can see why I'd be disappointed. Then the week of the convention rolls around and total chaos ensues. All the wolves pulled out due to filming in Vancouver....First up the sweet Bree aka Jodelle Ferland. Next up a newbie....Guri Weinberg (HOT) then slowly added Charlie Bewley (HOTTIE), another newbie Leah Gibson (Total Sweetie), Patrick Brennan (Awesome) and Peter Facinelli! I was beyond excited about meeting Peter! Then last minute addition was Gil Birmingham (Wolf Daddy). All in all a great lineup! And a total 360 from what was originally planned! So fast forward to Thursday night, the night before the action starts! We finally arrive at our hotel around 11pm...After checking in and getting everything settled in our room I log into facebook to check things out. I see a post from my sister-in law explaining that she was sorry to hear Peter canceled! Ummmm WHAT? WHEN? WHY? So I tell Sam whats going on....she grabs her phone and starts researching the Conventions site...."OMG, Am I Seeing this right?" She brings the phone to me to show me the change and I literally grab her wrist and loudly express my shock/excitement! Yes Peter did cancel due to a family emergency....But we got another Cullen last minute to fill in...My favorite character from the series and one of my favorite actresses....MS NIKKI FREAKING REED!!!!!!!! SQQQQEEEEEEEEEEEEE! At that point we are both so excited we don't know what to do with ourselves *lol*
We finally get to bed at maybe 3 ish in the AM....Only to wake up at 8 the next morning to get ready for the days festivities. Including Early Registration, buying souvenirs, etc. We get in line around 11 and wait for registration to start at 1pm. We get to see alot of interesting Twilight fans.
